Perfect for couples or a family with a hot tub overlooking the lake and only 1½ miles to the sandy beaches.
Accommodation
All on the ground floor, the lodge offers a bright and comfortable open-plan living space. The living area includes a Smart TV and a double sofa bed suitable for children only, with French doors opening onto a large, enclosed decked area. A dedicated dining area sits alongside the well-equipped kitchen, which features an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and washing machine.
There are two bedrooms: one double bedroom with a 4ft 6in bed and an en-suite shower room with cubicle shower and WC, and a second bedroom with two 3ft single beds. A separate shower room includes a heated towel rail, shower, and WC.
Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels, and Wi-Fi are all included. A travel cot and highchair are available on request, along with a welcome pack and dog-friendly extras. Guests also have access to a shared external utility room with a washing machine. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden with a decked seating area and garden furniture, as well as a private hot tub for four. Complimentary robes and slippers are provided for added comfort. Private parking is available for two cars. No smoking.
Setting & location
The Laurels is a peaceful retreat, ideal for a relaxing break and particularly popular with fishing enthusiasts, thanks to the well-stocked coarse fishing lakes directly in front of the lodges. Each lodge has been thoughtfully designed with comfort and quality in mind, featuring large enclosed decks overlooking the lakes and private hot tubs — perfect for sitting back, soaking, and unwinding.
The sandy east coast beach at Ingoldmells is just 1½ miles away, offering miles of quiet seaside walks and a choice of beachside cafés. The lively resort of Skegness is only 3½ miles away and is home to amusements, a funfair, an aquarium, and a wide range of family attractions. Nature lovers will enjoy visiting Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve, while family days out can be enjoyed at Fantasy Island, located just 1½ miles away, or Butlins, a short drive further along the coast.
Shops, restaurants, and pubs are approximately 1 mile away, with the beach also within easy reach.
