Sleeping & Bathing

The Forge features four beautifully appointed bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to provide a peaceful and comfortable retreat after a day exploring the surrounding countryside.

On the first floor, the master bedroom offers a serene escape, complete with a sumptuous king-size bed and calming tones that create a wonderfully restful atmosphere. A charming round window provides views towards the historic bridge and peaceful Camel River, while the adjoining en-suite bathroom adds an extra touch of privacy and convenience.

The second bedroom is equally inviting, featuring a comfortable double bed and its own en-suite bathroom with shower. Perfect for relaxed mornings and freshening up after a day of adventure.

The third bedroom is located on the ground floor and offers flexible sleeping arrangements, making it ideal for adults, children or friends. The room can be configured with either a super king-size bed or two full-size single beds, all dressed in soft, comfortable linens. A nearby shared bathroom provides both a bath and shower.

Also on the ground floor, the fourth bedroom offers a peaceful and private retreat away from the main living areas, with a comfortable double bed providing a relaxing space to unwind.

The Forge’s bathrooms are finished with a balance of style, comfort and practicality. With a spacious family bathroom on the ground floor and two en-suite bathrooms upstairs, there is plenty of space for everyone to freshen up and relax. From a refreshing shower after a countryside walk to a leisurely soak in the bath, everything has been considered to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

The Forge’s beautiful tiered garden provides a peaceful outdoor retreat, with thoughtfully planted borders adding colour and character throughout the seasons. A spacious concrete patio forms the heart of the garden and is perfectly suited to outdoor dining, with a BBQ and comfortable seating providing everything you need for relaxed lunches and al fresco evening meals.

Whether you’re enjoying a morning coffee in the fresh air or unwinding with a glass of wine as the sun goes down, the garden is a wonderful place to slow down and enjoy your surroundings.

Parking

Private parking is available at The Forge for up to two cars.

Accessibility

The Forge can be accessed via a few steps, while wheelchair access is available to the main entrance gate at the side of the property.

Babies & Children

Children and up to two babies-in-arms are welcome at The Forge. A travel cot, highchair and stairgate can be provided upon request. For everyone’s safety, children should be supervised throughout your stay.

Dogs

Up to two well-behaved dogs are very welcome at The Forge. A fee of £35 per dog, per week applies, with an additional charge applicable for short breaks.
