This lovely Yorkshire Wolds cottage dates from 1897 when the farm underwent a period of expansion & investment. As you might gather originally stables it has now been converted into a stunning 2 bedroom/2 bathroom self catering holiday cottage. We offer weekly holidays and short breaks and what’s more you can arrive any day.
On the ground floor the living accommodation is semi open plan with a well fitted kitchen and separate dining area featuring natural travertine flooring. The sitting room runs off the dining area, with a double height ceiling, oak flooring and a wood burning stove. Views across the fields from the living area.
There is a twin/superking bedroom downstairs with an adjacent wet room with a large easy access shower.
Upstairs there is a master suite, a bedroom with a King sized bed and large bathroom with bath & separate shower, please note that this upper floor has partially sloping ceilings.
Stables holiday cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms, there is room for a put up bed (extra charge) or travel cot (FOC) for an additional child on the landing outside the master bedroom.
Well suited for those with limited mobility with an open plan living area, ground floor bedroom and easy access wet room. There is solid paving from the parking area to the cottage, whilst there is a step on access to the front door the side door has a gentle ramp, both doors are oversized and very wide.
