Ryeland Shepherd Hut - Melton Mowbray

Ryeland is one of our dog-friendly shepherd huts and the largest accommodation at The Hideaway. Positioned on the left side of the site, it enjoys uninterrupted views across open fields where you may be lucky enough to spot hares and other local wildlife. During the warmer months, cattle and sheep can often be seen grazing nearby, adding to the peaceful rural setting.

Inside, the hut features a fully equipped kitchen with a combination microwave, fridge, electric hob, kettle, coffee machine, and all the essential cookware and utensils needed for your stay.

Ryeland offers a comfortable double bed and a modern en-suite bathroom with shower facilities. Fresh towels, complimentary mini toiletries, and toilet rolls are provided. Guests can also enjoy a Smart TV with Netflix access, along with free Wi-Fi throughout the site.

Outside, you’ll find your own private wood-fired hot tub, outdoor seating area, and BBQ. All firewood is included for the duration of your stay. A hot tub lighting service is available for £10 on the first night only—simply add this when booking and provide your estimated arrival time if you would like the hot tub prepared before you arrive.

As with all our dog-friendly huts, Ryeland includes a secure stake for your dog and a water bowl, allowing your pet to relax safely while you take in the views from your private decking area.
