Farmhouse Kitchen
The heart of the home is the large farmhouse kitchen, featuring an oil-fuelled Aga, a family-sized dining table, and everything you need to cook and entertain in comfort — including an electric oven and hob, American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher, and microwave.
Living Spaces
Unwind in the cosy sitting room or retreat to the snug/study, each with its own wood-burning stove and a basket of logs ready for your arrival. Both rooms include Smart TVs with Apple TV, and the property offers high-speed Wi-Fi throughout.
A spacious boot room provides ample storage for coats, boots, and outdoor gear, and also includes a washing machine and tumble dryer — perfect after a day on the fells.
Upstairs Accommodation
Rowling House comfortably sleeps up to eight guests across four beautifully appointed bedrooms:
Three bedrooms can be arranged as super-king doubles or twins, offering flexible comfort for families or groups.
The fourth bedroom features a king-size bed with lovely views across the valley.
Two bedrooms benefit from en-suite shower rooms, while a large family bathroom includes a stunning cast-iron roll-top bath and separate shower — the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day outdoors.
Outdoor Living
The private enclosed garden offers plenty of space to relax, dine, and take in the fresh mountain air. There is also a Wood-fired hot tub – ideal for stargazing or soothing tired legs after a day on the fells, a Patio area with garden seating, Storage shed for bikes and outdoor equipment and dedicated parking for three cars plus an EV charging point.
Up to two well-behaved dogs are warmly welcome at Rowling House, so your four-legged friends can join in the adventure too.
