Set on a peaceful hillside in South West Scotland, Gatehouse Luxury Lodges offers breathtaking views across the Solway Firth, with eight metres of glass bringing the stunning landscape right into your lodge. On a clear day, you can see across to the Lake District, and on a beautiful evening, the Isle of Man may appear on the horizon.
Located just two miles from Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway, the lodges offer the perfect balance of tranquillity and convenience. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings, watch red kites soaring overhead, or take a leisurely walk into town through Cally Woods without needing to use the car.
Three of our five luxury lodges are dog friendly — Ocean Drive, Silver Birch and Millers Hill — welcoming you and your four-legged companions to enjoy a relaxing break together. All five lodges are single-level and designed with accessibility in mind, making them comfortable and easy to enjoy for all guests. We don’t have hot tubs, and our guests tell us they don’t miss them; instead, they come for the views, the peace and the chance to truly unwind.
The lodges were designed and built by me, James, and I continue to run Gatehouse Luxury Lodges personally, ensuring every guest receives a warm and personal welcome. Many visitors arrive for the incredible views and peaceful setting, and many return again and again.
