Just a short drive from the picturesque market town of Pickering, seven miles from Rosedale, and only 30 minutes from the east coast, this is the perfect base for exploring the region.
Broomfield Cottage sleeps four guests across two beautifully appointed bedrooms—a king and two singles—each featuring the comfiest beds and a stylish bathroom. Every room offers delightful views of the tranquil village and the expansive North Yorkshire countryside. Owners Sue and Paul have lovingly transformed Broomfield Cottage into an idyllic retreat, combining comfort, character, and the perfect setting for rest and relaxation.
This light and airy cottage offers a comfortable and relaxing base for exploring the hidden gems of North Yorkshire. The living area is perfect for unwinding, with cosy sofas arranged around an antique fireplace—ideal for curling up with a good book or enjoying your favourite movie on the Smart TV. For younger or more energetic guests, there’s even an Xbox to keep everyone entertained.
The cottage-style kitchen and dining area is fully equipped for preparing delicious meals, from hearty suppers to Sunday lunches, using fresh Yorkshire ingredients from local farm shops. Practical amenities include an 8-ring range-style cooker, full-size fridge freezer, microwave, and washing machine. A convenient downstairs cloakroom with WC adds extra ease.
Upstairs, the light-filled interiors continue. The master bedroom overlooks Main Street and features a large king-size bed with plush linens, providing the perfect retreat for a restful night. Across the charming landing, the twin bedroom offers two comfortable single beds and plenty of storage. A family bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower completes the first floor.
Each bedroom comes with a hairdryer, full-length or wall mirror, and wardrobe or chest of drawers for storage. A travel cot and highchair are available for guests with children under two.
