The House
The main entrance leads directly into the kitchen, with a comfortable sitting room, utility room and toilet also located on this level. Upstairs, the master bedroom has its own bathroom.
Three further bedrooms and the dormitory/games room are located on the lower level. These bedrooms have doors opening directly onto the large garden, which sweeps around the house. As a result, the property effectively has two ground-floor levels.
The house is not fully wheelchair accessible because there are four steps between the kitchen and sitting room. However, a wheelchair can access one of the garden bedrooms directly through its external door, with access to the kitchen possible via the front entrance.
Games Room
The games room is a great space for relaxing and entertaining, featuring a billiards/snooker table, table football, a second TV and comfortable sofas.
Helford Village and the River
Helford village is just a five-minute walk from the house, accessed via a private track. Below the house you will find a beach suitable for swimming, as well as boat moorings.
The beautiful Helford River provides plenty of opportunities to explore the coastline and surrounding creeks. Kayaks, sailing boats and motor boats can be hired and arranged on moorings ready for your arrival, allowing you to discover secluded coves and beaches that are only accessible by water.
Helford Passage lies directly opposite Helford village and can be reached by the local ferry, which runs throughout the day.
Walking and Local Activities
The area is a paradise for walkers, with numerous spectacular coastal walks nearby, including routes to Frenchman’s Creek and Bosahan Cove.
